Some of my readers have asked for advice on how to develop their own spirituality based upon what my husband Peter and I have experienced in our journey so far. Thank you for this very important question. Other than what I have written about in Our Grand Journey…. , I believe it is inappropriate for me to speak to my own choices or my own intrinsic values. Our spiritual journey is just that, and cannot be “duplicated” by anyone else.
Spirituality is about love and the heart; it comes from within. I believe everyone must find their own way by being attuned to their inner guidance, and by listening to their heart and what their soul is trying to tell them. I want to inspire others to delve deeper into their experiences and uncover what it is their soul is trying to bring to light so that they can grow spiritually and develop their own state of awareness of the limitless nature of human expression. And, although we must all travel our paths alone, we can support each other as our different perceptions help us to grow and enrich our journeys together.
I have a deep respect for how all others’ lives unfold. And if I had to give any Divine guidance, I would say to start by reading the classic spiritual writings of, for example, Tao Te Ching or the Buddha as a base for developing a spiritual life so that you can internalize and directly experience their wisdom. Also, I have given a list of resources at the end of Our Grand Journey of Self-Exploration that my be helpful.
From Tara with love and light.
